Always wondered if there was a brilliant artist hidden somewhere within you? Well - there is! Give me 3 or 4 hours of your time and I will prove it to you and to the world. You will leave with your own acrylic painting on canvas, which you will have designed and painted yourself. People who thought they knew you will start to view you differently. 

Join me in my little home studio in our converted Derbyshire mill. We can have a cup of tea and talk about what your dream painting might look like. Then we’ll get stuck in. I’ll be gentle with you. So many of us lack self confidence after bad school experiences and we simply need a little encouragement and permission to believe in ourselves again. 

My goals are to show you that:

I’ll do my best to film the creation of your painting and to give you a time lapse video to take away.

I have a spare apron - but old clothes are advised.

I am a professional artist, co-host of a fun creative podcast (50 Words for Snow) and author of two books (Hitchhiking with Drunken Nuns and The Quiet Woman). My life tells a story of someone who is committed to unleashing creativity in myself and in others.

I have over 10 years experience teaching art classes one on one in my home studio. I have worked as an art teacher in primary schools. I have travelled the USA giving private art lessons.

This country is full of paintings hanging proudly on the walls of those who I have helped create them. These people now know that they are capable of achieving anything if they are given the right tools.
